The store selection, if that'swhat you call it, has dwindled down to practically nothing. The parking lot was ravaged for a carwash. Now I he we are losing our movie theater. It's so sad what the Temple Mall has become. No more date night for people, well, except for going out to eat. No more hours-on-end of shopping and visiting with our shopaholic friends-in-crime. If I played, "Remember When," you'd just cry... what a sad time for Temple.
Temple Mall and homeless shelter chic! OOLALA! by ,
It might help if the main entrances weren't in terrible disrepair with trash strewn everywhere. I swear the same trash is still laying in the flower beds that was there 6 months ago. The movie marquees literally falling off the building with 4 year old, completely faded movie posters still in them are a wonderfully apocalyptic touch as well. The whole place really looks like a set piece from some distopian film. So much for the "new ownership".
Disappointed by ,
I found the same photo showing Temple Mall to be three stories. However, I was at Temple Mall last weekend and it is still one long floor with several levels due to a few stairs here and there. Most of the store are gone or closed. All of the food court has changed, and is hardly ever open. I miss the old days where there was plenty to see and do at the mall.
misleading picture on website by ,
The Temple website has a misleading picture on how the mall looks. The picture seems to look like it’s a three story galleria and it’s not ! Good thing I came across this site and saw that a lot of stores are out of business and that it does not look like that before I made the hour trip!
Sad by ,
It’s sad our malls are closing and strip malls are taking over. I would rather shop inside a building than out in the heat. Please help keep our mall alive.
Mall walker by ,
Very sad, Temple mall was not doing well b4 the covid 19 panic (too many vacancies) now it seems to want the last few survivors to perrish. This is still America and customers will go where they feel wanted (and/or where there are good deals).
opportunity by ,
Now it is great opportunity for remodeling and renovation (especially AC system) this mall. You should use new technology, make it some special and become first great example for others.
