Tiger Town Outdoor Shopping Center is a large shopping mall located in Opelika, Alabama. It is the largest retail center in east Alabama, with approximately 1 million square feet of retail space. It offers a variety of stores, restaurants, services and entertainment options for shoppers of all ages and interests. Tiger Town Outdoor Shopping Center is conveniently located at the intersection of I-85 and US-280, which makes it easily accessible from Auburn, Columbus, Montgomery and other nearby cities. The shopping center was developed by Jim Wilson & Associates, LLC, a real estate company based in Montgomery. The first phase of the shopping center opened in 2004, and the second phase was completed in 2006. Since then, Tiger Town has continued to expand and attract new tenants and customers. Tiger Town Outdoor Shopping Center has over 98 stores that cater to different needs and preferences of shoppers. Some of the major stores include: Bed Bath & Beyond, Best Buy, Dick’s Sporting Goods, Hobby Lobby, Home Depot, Kohl’s, Target, T.J. Maxx and more and more. Tiger Town Outdoor Shopping Center also has a wide range of dining options for hungry shoppers. Whether you are looking for a quick bite, a casual meal or a fine dining experience, you can find it at Tiger Town. The general opening hours are: Monday - Saturday from 7 AM - 10 PM and on Sunday from 8 AM to 9 PM. Tiger Town has a movie theater called Carmike Cinemas Tiger 13 that shows the latest movies in digital projection and sound. Tiger Town Outdoor Shopping Center has ample parking spaces for shoppers. There are several parking lots around the shopping center that are free and open to the public. There are also designated parking spaces for handicapped drivers and expectant mothers. However, parking may be limited during peak hours or special events.

Being an Opelika native, I spend most of my shopping days at Tiger Town. I have found most of the places to be of good service and cleanliness. There's a variety of different places to suit all your needs from grocery shopping to sporting to dining to pets and office supplies. One year I did all my Christmas shopping just in Tiger Town. Great place to shop.
