Switched from Sprint to AT&T. Was told if I brought in a working phone from Sprint worth $10 they would pay my transfer fees up to a certain amount. Was told by the salesman and then reaffirmed by another salesman that I had two weeks to bring that phone in. Upon asking about coming up to bring in the phone I was told "our policy actually changed and we do not do that anymore." With no grandfather rule I was told there was nothing anyone in the store could do for me. Manager didn't even call me back to go over the issue he had the salesman do it. To top it off when asking for something to be done since the salesman and his co-worker confirmed the statement. The salesman's response was "I didn't technically promise you anything." Will not do anything in that store again. We were told whatever was needed for the salesman to sell 4 new phones and an Ipad. Poor salesman to not take accountability, poor manager for not having the concern to call back. Poor all around. We did deal with a girl who worked their earlier in the day who was very honest. I appreciated her time and was upset to not be able to continue working with her later that night. If she didnt know the answer she was atleast honest and didnt say whatever was needed to get the deal done.
