I am sorry that this rating does not allow a 0-zero rating. I only gave it a one because that was the lowest option. I visited this Aunt Annies location (07/02/2019 at approx. 3pm) as a family tradition for myself and family to stop at a location for a sweet treat after walking and shopping at a mall. This by far has been our worse experience. The server, a female told us it would take 10minutes to prepare our order of almond & cinnamon pretzel. She handed our order over the barrier, my husband's almond pretzel charred/burnt and was not edible, instead offering to make a new one she tossed it in the bin & gave a refund without giving him the option to decide. I believe she was extremely rude and should not be on a frontline serving customers, but in the back washing pots and pans or on a farm serving pigs. She is not a true representative of that organization, as we have been to several across different states. She was rude I man really rude and had an attitude when we told her it was burnt, the almonds were burnt beyond recognition. I f we should go back and shes serving we are definitely not stopping or we may not even stop there again #verydisappointed
Disrespected and disgusted by ,
My wife and I visited the Animas Valley Mall yesterday (July 2, 2019) and after shopping stopped for pretzels as this has become our tradition for the past 8 years. We found the attendant at the booth to be disrespectful, arrogant and racist The pretzels we wanted (Almond and Cinnamon) were not available but we were told they could be made in 10 minutes. After waiting the stated time we were called to collect our pretzels and realized that were were served burnt pretzels. I returns to the attendant and pointed out that they were burnt on both sides. She responded to say “that’s how it has to be because the pretzels me to be a certain color.” She didn’t offer us a solution or option to select another product the company had on offer she only stated that I can get a refund. Before waiting for my response she grabbed the pretzel, threw it in the bin and gave me back the cash. This I found to be disrespectful. I’m a Banker and my wife is a OR Nurse, money isn’t a problem we just have to wring color. Because the same attendant who called us for our food while we were waiting 10 mins waited eagerly to a white family who came shortly after us and order items that were already available. If that’s not racism then I guess I don’t know what is. This experience has tarnished our love for Auntie Anne’s Pretzels. I can say with certainty that I will not return to the booth at this mall.
