While purchasing a magazine I placed cash on the counter. The clerk refused to pick it up insisting it be placed in his hand. I commented that in my 70 plus years no one had
refused money on the counter. When I asked for his name( name tag turned backwards) he responded that he " could get me for assault) for taking change from his hand. He then called the manager.
