Help with Cat Harness by ,
I've always had a good experience when I've gone in. Several years ago I bought a harness and leash for training my cat, and the young man who rang me up told me to leave the harness in the floor for a week or more and let Buddy get used to it. Also to rub it all over him to get his scent on it. Worked like a charm. Buddy never would tolerate a collar, and I put that harness on him one day and he walked around like a pro. Took him out on the leash that first day and he was fine. Only problem was that he felt like he couldn't jump down from the little stool where I put the harness on him... he kind of rolled off it into the floor the first few times. Oh, did I mention he was eight years old when I did this? If that process will work on an eight year old cat, it should work on most others. The guy knew what he was talking about!
