Casual Male XL - Waterloo, New York NY 13165 - Waterloo Premium Outlets

Mentioned to a veteran friend of mine the Destination XL/Casual Male would have a better selection of Big & Tall shirts for him. We drove from Ontario County & as a former retail sales associate, I was shocked! It looked as though we had been the only customers in the store all day, so that should have been all the more reason the store would be CLEAN, right? WRONG! My friend is also an amputee with a Registered Service Dog. The aisles were tightly packed with bulging racks & right as we walked in he had to navigate around a suit hook, laying haphazardly on top of a rack. It caught my sweater. The associate never moved it after he saw that we had trouble with it. While I was helping my friend, because the associate was too busy holding up the computer game behind the counter, I went ahead, found a tape measure & measured my friend’s neck, arms & torso for his shirts. When he was ready to try on the shirts, the associate seemed bothered to be asked for the key, and then opened the ONE handicap accessible room that was FILLED with clothes from another customer from God knows when-he didn’t even bother to look! I had to go in & remove at LEAST 8 pairs of slacks, so that my friend could sit down. I even began replacing them on the hangers & then I thought, “Wait, I don’t work here!” The racks & clothes were dusty, the floor dirty & when I asked for additional sizes, he didn’t even bother to look in the back! Had he helped us better, he probably would have had a better sale. Sadly, my friend had to buy the two shirts as he needed them for an event, but we will not being going back to that outlet store!
