Chick-fil-A - Corpus Christi, Texas 78411 - La Palmera

I first want to say that I love Chick-fil-A and I don’t think I’ve ever been disappointed at any Chick-fil-A I have ever been to except for the one at La Palmera Mall Corpus Christi. First it was great and they delivered to our store in the mall and I was never disappointed but then they stop delivery which was fine I didn’t mind walking to the food court. However one morning when I went to get ice coffee which I could’ve just got from the coffee beanery in the mall but I like the coffee from Chick-fil-A. I asked for light ice in my coffee like I usually do because working I don’t get a drink it all at once so usually waters down with a lot of ice but when asking for light ice the lady who I know was a supervisor told me I could not get light ice because that would mean I get less coffee I couldn’t believe what she said. I was embarrassed because other people around heard so I decided not to get the coffee I left with my breakfast with no ice coffee. I ended up still feeling angry about it later on that day so I called to complain and all I got was I’m sorry that happened not that I wanted anything from it I just felt like it didn’t seem right. After a couple of weeks later I couldn’t resist they brought back the delivery in the mall however if it was only 1030 to 730. I really love the breakfast from Chick-fil-A however getting to work right on time at 9:30 I never had time to go walking over there in the morning so sticking to the rules I ordered my breakfast at about 1015am and added in the comments that I didn’t mind it being delivered at 10:30 or after. Now at that time it was carry out And you would put what store you worked at and it would deliver to your store but then the app was changed to delivery being the option and not carry out that added a $.99 charge for the employee to walk down to deliver it I’m assuming no matter how close the store is and also adding a tip to the delivery person. I was able to do this several times with no hassle until one time I couldn’t. I was about 99% finished with my order and it wouldn’t let me choose delivery I always had to choose carry out I was always told that that was the incorrect way. It was about 10:29 AM and I called Chick-fil-A to let them know I really wanted to breakfast and I was pregnant and while I was talking to someone on the phone it turned 1030 and I did not complete my order on the app and the supervisor on the phone said that I could not order it and I said please let me do it this one time I was really craving that breakfast but she said no I cannot and that was it the last time I will buy Chick-fil-A from La Palmera mall.
