Long time Shopper at Chico's
I brought a jacket and a cotton knitted shirt back to Chico's to be returned for a different size. I also returned a pair of slacks that did not fit right and asked for a credit on my card for that. The slacks were 89.50. When the associate figured up all the necessary information, I was only going to get a credit of $73.48 on the slacks (there was a deduction of $16.02 for sales tax). Their reason - they considered my exchanges as new sales and therefore collected more sales tax. I did not get a return of sales tax in the 2 items I sent back for size exchanges. Although I have been a very good client of Chico's for about 15 years, I will no longer ever shop there again. Thank you.
