Crazy 8 - Hurst, Texas TX 76053 - North East Mall

I will never shop at this Crazy 8 store ever again. I made a purchase at this store using my debit card. The store charged my card two times, taking a charge of almost $100 out of my account two times. When I saw this in my online banking, I contacted the store and they told me that I would need to contact Crazy 8 customer service. The first time I contacted Customer Service I was bounced around and put on hold for over 30 minutes, only to have my call dropped. After calling back and being bounced around for another 15 minutes I was finally able to speak with a Supervisor. Despite my explanation to the Supervisor that both of the charges were actually deducted from my checking account, not one deducted and another in pending status, she informed me that I would have to wait 7 days for the second charge to "fall off and not go through"...even though both charges had already gone through. I then waited the 7 days, calling back on the 8th day and was told that the 7 days didn't include weekends. I spent another 30 minutes on hold, waiting for a Supervisor. At that point I was asked to wait until the 18th of the month to call back, 10 business days from the date of the transcation. In a nutshell, funds were withdrawn two times from my checking account on the 3rd of the month and there is no resolution, or potential resolution, until the 18th of the month. This is unacceptable given that this was not a pending transaction, a hold (similar to what a hotel does), or anything of that sort. This was double the funds deducted from our checking account. And I still do not know whether or not this will ever be resolved.
