Crocs - Clarksburg, Maryland MD 20871 - Clarksburg Premium Outlets

Absolutely horrible customer service. This store has the products, but worthless sales associates. My husband and I have visited the store numerous times and have bought items each time. I was so fed up with the lack of customer service today that I finally said something. The sales associates (5-6) all gather together and hang out behind the register. No one is on the floor helping customers. They laugh and play around, and honestly couldn't care less about what is happening in their store. They have one register, ONE! When the line is long, it takes forever to make your purchase. This would be less infuriating if the sales associates actually looked like they were being productive and took pride in their job. I asked to speak with the manager -- a less than impressive, very sloppy, looking man. I stated my complaint... 1. your sales associates are literally doing nothing and 2. you have one register... really?! (The store could completely cut back on their payroll with the lack of work being done.) He truly had the worst response to a customer complaint. He told me that the sales associates weren't on the floor because the store was too crowded, but, if they cut staff they wouldn't have enough associates helping customers. LOL, THEY AREN'T HELPING ANYONE, NOW! And then, as the conversation continued with his lack of empathy/understanding/care, he said to me, "You don't have to shop here on a holiday." His employees laughed which clearly shows how they value customers. Now it all makes sense why this store is a complete disgrace. Lets be clear, worthless supervisor.... I have shopped here a lot and your lack of leadership is ALWAYS in full effect, not just on holidays. And, you need me and others to shop here to support your paycheck. Don't forget that. Do yourself a favor and start caring about the customer experience in your store. OR, just take some, SOME, pride in your work. Seriously, buy your Crocs anywhere but here. If corporate truly cares about their brand's reputation, they will take into consideration the horrible reviews this store has with regard to customer service and do something about it. This was not an isolated incident.... fix the issue Crocs.
