I remember coming to this baber at the mall a couple years ago. This is when I was a student at SUNY Canton in st. Lawrence county. Never will I forget. The Spanish man cutting my hair assumed I was black and in Spanish was criticizing my hair because “I don’t take care of it.” He was referring to my nappy hair in which I am a proud Afro-Latino Dominican with nappy hair. News for you, I speak Spanish as much as you do. My fellow humans with nappy hair, wether you be black, Dominican, or whoever, be proud of your hair. You are beautiful unlike the man who cut my hair.
Too slow, always talking to coworkers or on their phones.
I like this place, it has the potential to grow but they are just way too slow and staff is always talking to each other or on their phones.
If I'm the only one there it can take anywhere between 30 minutes to 1 hour to get a haircut, but if it's a busy day and by that, I'm talking about 10+ people ahead of you; be ready to lose up to 4 hours of your day waiting plus another hour getting your haircut.
I'm not coming back.
