My 19 yr old daughter was sold a damaged dress (picked w/ makeup on it) @ Haywood Mall on Sat. Once I seen it, I opted to take back to Dillard’s in Spartanburg since this is where I live. The manager who was on duty 10/1/19 @ 6:40 pm would not take the $19 dress back or even offer me a gift card. She just said Haywood should not of sold the dress, but guess what they did. I was spending another $250 in my own dept while my daughter was purchasing. I called Haywood store & the nice manager agreed to give me a refund which I’m appreciative of, but hate I have to drive 40 min out of my way by tomorrow on a work week (Wednesday) b/c Spartanburg Manager would not offer me anything. Lack of eye contact & avoidance was her method of managing. TAGS WERE STILL ON THE DRESS!! I was going to order same dress online w/ Dillard’s except in bigger size & pay $32 for it, but not now!!! Is it really worth loosing a customer over $19? I’m a RN & can’t ever imagine treating a patient as such....... Pathetic customer service!!
