Excellent, unexpected and unnecessary service
I bought a pair of Ecco shoes in Chicago back in March. Rather than travel with them back home to Idaho, they were shipped to me. One of the shoes had a very loud squeak with every step. I repeatedly called the store in Chicago with unsatisfactory responses. I then emailed Ecco USA and received a timely response, stating that the Chicago store would contact me within 48 hours. I never heard back from anyone. Yesterday I visited the Ecco store in Scottsdale, Kierland Commons. Walked in with my box, explained the situation briefly to PAM; who immediately walked into the back of the store and returned with the same shoe, my large size (46cm), and quickly made a trade. Five minutes after walking in, trying on her some, I walked out with the same great looking shoes in a new bag. She went way beyond what I had hoped. Amazing service. Thank you.
