Formals XO:This was the worst experience. As a business professional, I have never been treated with such rudeness and disrespect . I was basically scolded by the manager for not making an appointment. My daughter and I were prom dress shopping. My daughter picked up 4 dresses and wanted to try them on. The representative/manager told me that "You needed to make an appointment so you cant try that on" and took the dress.It was a "ballroom" gown.I informed her that I work in surgery an cannot make appointments. The she asked me "well how serious are you about buying a dress today"? I was not in my business attire and represented an informal jeans and sweatshirt, looking as if I could not afford her dress. I have plenty of money and can shop anywhere. Very judgmental of her. I told my daughter to put all the dresses back as we were leaving, but my daughter wanted to stay.The "ballroom" gown appeared in the back and she came and asked me if we tried it on. I said you told us we were not permitted to try it on. She said well you needed an appointment but I will "allow" you to try it on. I told her she should post a sign out front to inform customers about the appointment policy and she stated I should have looked on line, its posted there. I told her that I walk the malls, not investigate store policy online, and had been to 4 other stores today and not ONE told me that I needed an appointment. That she was very rude in her conversation and she said I'm sorry you feel that way".Another parent also informed me that she felt she was very rude in her behavior. I ended up reluctantly purchasing a dress there, and when the manager checked us out she stated no one at all even tried on this dress. My daughter was devastated. My daughter felt that her dress was undesirable and also felt upset because she wears a size 18 unlike all of the other girls trying on the dresses. She felt she said that because she was overweight. When did the customer become an unwanted individual in the store. How offensive.My daughter and I were very upset about the whole experience. Shop there when the manager is not present.Read all of the other poor reviews about rudeness from this store before going. Be prepared.
