GameStop - Dayton, Ohio 45459 - Dayton Mall

Do NOT shop at a Gamestop., go to Walmart, Target, Best Buy...well basically anywhere else.Their return policy is draconian. I completely understand if the item is software, but not allowing a return of an item that is essentially a console (yes it was opened and looked at, but not ever hooked up) is really unfair, especially during Christmas. Who isn't going to open a box to at least look at it? I suppose we could always tell gift receivers "just look at the box until you fully decide you want to keep it" or better yet, get it at a better retailer. After refusing to return the item for a refund (fine, I get that) they also refused to offer store credit and instead offered $32 for an Item I just purchased for $80. Every other retailer has no problem and considers customer service important. Gamestop considers their customers chumps. We had a return the same day to Target, NO problem whatsoever. What do they offer that the other store doesn't Some used games and equipment that they paid the previous owner a pittance, marked up dramatically and sold to unsuspecting suckers. Want used? Go to eBay. Want new? Go somewhere else.
