Gluten Allergy Beware
Do not go to the Grand Lux Cafe if you have a GLUTEN ALLERGY or any other type of ALLERGY!!! Grossly incompetent!! They are liars!!! Not safe!!! My six year old son has Celiac disease. Prior to going there we called to check if was safe for my son and they stated it was. They even bragged about how they have a separate food prep area. When we were seated at the table we alerted our server that my son has a gluten allergy and again we were told it was safe. When they brought the food to the table we alerted them again and again we were told how safe it was. Prior to ordering dessert the server even doubled checked with the manager and again we were told it was safe!!! Guess what?45 minutes later my son is throwing up and in excruciating pain!! They definitely failed my son!!! Please take this as a WARNING for anyone who has Celiac or any other type of FOOD ALLERGY to stay away from the Grand Lux Cafe!!! They clearly lack the proper training, education, leadership and empathy to keep their customers safe from harm!!!
