I was very disappointed with in style today. My teenage daughters were shopping and were pressured into buying a hair straightener under the premise that they would lower the price from 100 to 80. When given a 100 dollar bill the sales person said so it's a 100 right? Proceed to charge them full price. They informed them they no longer wanted it but where told there are no exchanges or refunds as it states on the receipt. The girls called me and I asked to be placed on speaker phone while I talked to them. They were very rude and was told things such as "well maybe kids shouldn't be in the mall" and that they should have read the receipt etc. I told them I would come down and was told very rudely to come down they close at 8 etc. When I went I was told again in person they would not take it back since it says on the receipt and directed me to customer service "come back with a security guard". I went and filled out a complaint form which is all I could do and was told they don't know why they told me to bring a security officer when they could do nothing about it as each kiosk is individually owned that they were only trying to escalate a situation. It was suggested I call back on Monday and speak to the owner and report them to the better business bureau which I will. I went back to inform them as such as I had asked them to wait when they told me to come back with security. Again they told me that I shouldn't let my teens out and the manager said that they need to make better choices... who does that?! The girls asked to return it at the end of their transaction not a week later and they were very rude trying to antagonize a situation. They told me the owner is expecting my call on Monday so to be continued.
