I was threatened by the store manager today because she told me to pull my mask up over my nose. I've had covid and now struggle with vertigo if my face is covered too much—I had the mask covering my mouth only. I handed her the clothing in my hand and began to walk out of the store. She then said she hoped I got "hit by a train." This is totally unacceptable behavior from a manager level employee. Makes me wonder how she is treating her direct reports. Sadly, I won't be shopping at JC Penny's any longer. They can ask me to wear a mask - and I did, but they can't, or shouldn't force me to cover my nose. But more importantly, her comment wishing me dead was horrible! Shame on her - she should be reprimanded.
