Nice service good products
visitor to Austin by ,
While visiting Austin, we strolled through the Domain when an employee of Kedma saw we were well dressed older women and pounced on us. Their poorly trained, pushy sales person slapped product around our eyes before we could ask about ingredients and list our topical allergies and sensitivities. Fortunately, we didn't have a reaction. The product paled in comparison to the ones we use. I shared this story with my dermatologist and esthetician.
Do not fall for their high pressure sales tactics by ,
I received a sample of hand lotion as I walked by and made the mistake of saying thank you as that opened the dialogue with the sales associate. She asked if I liked facial products and I said yes. She says she would like to apply a sample of eye serum that helps reduce puffiness and fine lines. She applies it and used a little handheld fan to speed up the process. She shows me the difference between that eye and the one that was not treated and I was blown away. She continued by asking me what other areas I was unhappy with. I told her that I was impressed w the product and asked what the price was. She told me it normally sells for close to $1000 but she could sell it to me for $400. I told her I would have to discuss it with my husband and that’s when she got rude, asking if my being happy wasn’t worth $400. I told her I needed to go and then she really put the pressure on, saying she’d apply her VIP discount card, bringing the price down to $200. She proceeds to apply it to my other eye and as we are waiting for it to dry, she goes on to tell me that the product would last three years and you only apply it once a week. She shows me the results of my other eye and again, I was blown away! I cave and buy it. The next morning I wake up and my eyes are puffy and the fine lines are back... Knowing that she told me you only apply it once a week, I wanted to apply it to my tired, puffy eyes to get the amazing results I’d gotten in the store. No such luck... It did absolutely nothing. I read reviews online and came to find several other people posting the same thing! The receipt states no returns due to COVID but thankfully they ended up allowing me to return it!!! Please don’t fall for their scams. I honestly have no idea how they are in business!?
Shady Predators by ,
These creepy monsters hover outside the entrance preying on innocent pedestrians who walk by. They are of the same breed as the ones in kiosks of Barton Square Mall and the Shops at Planet Hollywood in Vegas. You've been warned now act accordingly.
Aggressive sales tactics of questionable product by ,
Consultant approached me and tried to sell product called Lavelier Age Defying Syringe, which seems to be a scam, with 2.3 rating on Amazon for similar product. It works by tightening skin with Sodium Silicate (feels just like glue on a face) and similar cremes cost $20 on amazon. In this store it costs several hundreds Consultant was very aggressive and tried to press me to buy immediately. It is even worse that the product he tried to sold was a scam
Do not fall prey to the shady salesmen! by ,
I was trying to get to J. Crew to make a return a few doors down from Kedma when a salesman approached me on the sidewalk to offer me a handcream sample. I thanked him, putting in my purse and he asked if I'd like a sample of the eye cream. I said sure, then made the grave mistake of following him inside to get it. He insists he has to apply it to my eyes himself and then whips out a fan to help it dry faster...he tells me he can only do one eye so I can see the difference. (Tick-tock...I had a million errands to run and didn't have time for this nonsense)...What followed was a series of super high pressure sales, backhanded compliments followed my insulting questions like, "Are you concerned about the sagging skin on your neck?" or "Are you bothered by the creases around your face?" He quoted some insane price in the thousands for an eye cream that came with a today only gift. When I thanked him and said I needed to go. The pressure mounted as he wanted to know what was stopping me from purchasing it today. The sales tactics were worse than any used car dealership. I couldn't get out of there fast enough. The eye cream incidentally felt like glue had dried on my face 10 minutes later. I couldn't wait to get home and wash my face!
