Mattress Liquidators - Peoria, Illinois 61615 - The Shoppes at Grand Prairie

I purchased a queen mattress and wood base from Mattress Liquidators’ Peoria store. It was one of the worst decisions I ever made. When this store delivered my queen mattress and wood base and picked up my old queen mattress and box spring with metal zippered mattress protectors on them, their delivery men dragged these mattresses and the wood base across my vinyl wood plank flooring instead of picking up and carrying the mattresses and wood base across the short distance from my apartment door to the bedroom. By doing this, Mattress Liquidators made over a 12 foot long scratch across my vinyl plank flooring. The scratches and gouges in the flooring are quite deep and jagged in parts. There is even a deep scratch in the metal carpet divider that lines my carpet going into the bedroom. I have a witness that will verify that all this damage to my flooring was caused by this store’s delivery men, because all this damage to my vinyl plank flooring was never there before this store’s delivery. Even the salesman who sold me the mattress and wood base acknowledged the damage done to my flooring when I showed him the 9 pictures of damage done to my flooring on January 24 when I returned to Mattress Liquidators’ store to see about compensation for the damage. However the store’s head never did anything about the matter after emails, calls to the store, and complaints to the Better Business Bureau of Illinois and the state’s attorney general’s office. Instead, the head of this store sent false information to my credit card company and wouldn’t take any responsibility for the damage his store’s delivery men caused. This is despite the fact that the 9 pictures of the damage done to my vinyl plank flooring clearly depict damage done from my entrance door that follows a very discernible path to just outside my carpeted bedroom. I still can’t believe what despicable lengths this store went to, to avoid taking any responsibility for all the damage Mattress Liquidators did to my flooring. They will not only not stand behind their service and products, but they will try to smear your character when replying to any agencies that get involved in the matter. One only needs to look at the numerous complaints filed against this Mattress Liquidators’’ store at the Better Business Bureau of Illinois website to see that this is true.
