Horrible Customer Service!!!! by ,
I went in to get my hair braided, and had a consultation with the owner and the braider Asi. I explained to her that the last shop I went to braided my hair too tight, and that I didn't care if the the braids were loose. What I care about is that care of my hair. During the service I explain to the braider repeatedly that she was braiding too tight. After I got home I called the owner and explained to her the situation, she started that she couldn't do anything about it, and that I needed to call the braider because she's a contract worker. I explained to the owner that this had nothing to do with me she works in her shop and she should be addressing the issue. I then called the braider and explained the situation to her, and asked if I could come back in and have her take the braids out and loosen them. She started that she could take them out but refuse to redo them. When I began to ask her why not she hung up the phone on me. I called her back and asked her why she hung up the phone, and stated to her that this was very unprofessional. Especially considering that I gave her a $20 tip. I work in the service industry and have 250 people that work under me. I believe in service, and when a paying customer comes to me and say they are not satisfied I will do everything in my power to bring resolution to that client. The owner called me back and asked me to come back, so that they can take the hair out. However, when I asked if I could have my hair rebraided by someone else that wouldn't braid so right there was a refusal. Her response was Asi was the only braider that doesn't braid tight, this in itself is a concern. Then I asked if I could get my money back and she stated no. So, I told her to keep it and that I was going to write a review. She then stated that she was going to post a picture of my hair style, which was disturbing to me because I guess I was being photographed without my permission. Furthermore, I don't understand what does a picture have to do with level of pain a person feels after a service. I took the time to write this review because I am a consumer who works hard for their earnings. And when you patronize an establishment and you get bad customer service you want to make others aware. I cannot stop people from patronizing this business, but I can certainly warn them. Date of service: 6/8/21.
Ms. Tim is the Best! by ,
Ms. Tim has been braiding my hair for several months. She is professional and accommodating and always strives to satisfy the costumer. She offers many diverse styles and they always are exactly what you asked for. She is personable and is worth every penny. Ask for her by name, you won’t be disappointed.
poor quality nails by ,
Lady with a face condition was very rude. Her work is terrible. Never again.
NEVER AGAIN by ,
I came here for a pedicure and a fill in. The older lady who did my pedi was great. Now for the "$15" fill in...2 nails required a repair. as she was starting (2:15pm), i received a phone call that changed my schedule, I had to be somewhere by (3:00pm). I asked the lady (with the facial condition) to please just pop them off and paint my regular nails due to the time crunch. I will still pay what I owe. She says ok, and proceeds to put the fake nails on my fingers!! ??? ok...fine, maybe she didnt understand me. I gave her my card and ya girl charged me $50 for a fill in the was initially $15. ($15 + 2 nail reapir @ $3/ea = $21) where did the extra $30?!?!?! I gave her a nice tip and everything. What in the world type JANKY place is this?? No Sis - DONT DO IT.
Terrible Experience- Walked out- DON'T GO HERE. by ,
Would give zero stars if i could and would warn anyone who values customer service and principles not to get their nails done at this Nail salon connected to Super Hair Braiding Behind JC Penny's. I came in the salon today as a walk in and was the only customer in the salon. There was 2 employees there and an older lady name Kim started to do my nails. I only needed a simple manicure because I had an old gel polish that had basically grown out to midpoint of my nails. I wanted to give my nails a break from another gel polish so I just requested a simple manicure. Anyway, all was well until about 10 minutes later two women came in and guessing from Kim's reaction/ greeting they were frequent customers. The other employee sets up the spa so the women can get their pedicures and at this point Kim stops doing my nails and tells me she is going to do one of the lady's pedicure because my nails still needs to soak to fully remove gel polish.. Cool no worries, i wasn't in a rush and i get it... pedicure = more money than basic manicure with regular polish. No attitude from me, nothing. I sat there for about 30 minutes watching news on the tv while Kim did the lady's pedicure. When she was the done with her pedicure I saw her guide the lady to another station and then she sat down and started to prep to do her nails. This is when i was like Really??? So I removed my now ghost white hands from the bowl of nail polish remover and kindly told Kim that I was leaving. She was like oh you leaving? And i said "yes, because I was here before those ladies walked in here and you stop doing my names to do her pedicure and now you're doing her nails too? That's not fair". Kim was like oh Okay- No apology or explanation... she didn't even give a damn. So if you want to be bumped over another client they think they can make more money off of... then come here. If you're like me and believes all customers should be treated fairly then go someplace else.
