Reviews

VERY bad housing! by ,
I don't typically write a review for a establishment but, I must for this one... This place was talked up at the reptile expo this summer so my wife and I figured we would check it out. All I can say is WOW. Yes, they do have quite a selection of reptiles but with that being said.... quite a few were in bad condition. There was a cool looking lizard with what looked like a broken hand (could have been MBD). Lighting and UV looked as if it was moved from enclousure to enclosure. I am a firm believer that if you don't have the funds to maintain a animal then you should not own a animal, this should be common practice at ANY pet store. Don't cut corners for the sake of saving a buck when the animal's health at stake. Leopard geckos were held in critter carriers NEXT (side to side) to snakes where they can see each other. I am not a trained expert but, I would think that if something small such as a Leopard Gecko was housed next to a snake or other larger animal that could eat them, would cause stress and is not good for the gecko's health. Above all... keeping a dying Bearded Dragon baby in a tank with other babies is what really blew my mind. There was no heat maintained on the enclosure nor uvb provided. There were a lot of tanks with water surrounding the enclosure which raises humidity anyone who owns a Bearded Dragon knows....humidity needs to be kept down or else they can develop a respiratory infection. There is SO much that needs to be corrected with this store and if they can't put more care towards their animals they should not be in business. Lastly, taking down a Facebook page that reviews your business just to try and save the credibility of your establishment is bad business practice. Obviously they know what they are doing is wrong and are trying thier best to try and cover it up....Shop elsewhere. I never wish for a "non chain" store to go out of business but.... this one needs to.
Horrible conditions!! by ,
If I could give 0 stars I would! These poor babies are all kept on horrible conditions, 1 dragon has a broken right hand and the bearded dragon cage had no heat or UV light AT ALL!! The one baby Beardie was on deaths door.. cold to the touch, shallow breathing, not moving.. I went back an hour after posting a Facebook review with the same information and SUPRISE, suddenly there’s all the lighting they need and the dying baby was GONE!! We went back to rescue it but God knows what will happen to it now. This place needs SHUT DOWN!! Shame on the owners!!!
Animals in terrible by ,
Animals are not in good Condition at all. One monitor lizard was dead in the tank. Bearded dragons had no light or heat source. Walnut bedding. Very dehydrated. Place needs condemned.
Animals in terrible condition. Do not buy here! by ,
We walked by the store today. The animals are in terrible condition. All of the bearded dragons were underweight and covered in some sort of scale fungus. They were stored on walnut bedding, which is a quick giveaway that the owners don't know what they're doing (walnut can get stuck in their digestion track. The best substrate for reptiles is tile covered with plain paper towels.) I would caution anyone interested in buying here to run away, unless you want an animal that will need intense medical care. We didn't stick around to look at much else, those cages told us all we needed to know.
