Pinot's Palette - South Barrington, Illinois 60010 - The Arboretum of South Barrington

OMGOSH. When we registered, they stated they had put precautions in place. We were led to believe (because their website stated it) that seating was limited due to social distancing. As it turns out, when we got there, we were packed in at no less than 24 people. Tables were about 3 feet apart. No one was wearing a mask. But the real kicker was after we were all done with our paintings, they asked us all to hold our paintings up and put our masks on for the picture!!!!! As if we had had the masks on the whole time. Talk about false marketing. That felt like they were trying to portray they had these precautions in place, when clearly they don’t give a crap. It was literally the same as being in a crowded restaurant or a bar. Which is fine if that’s what you know you’re getting into. But we weren’t.
