Trade Home Shoes is one of the very few stores that know how to properly fit shoes. The vast majority of shoe stores want you in and out as quickly as possible. I learned about 35 years ago how to fit shoes properly and it has served me well. The Manager Andrew new exactly what I was talking about when I said I wanted to "fit" the shoes. Remember that your body posture mechanics start with your feet - do not cheat yourself over a few dollars when it comes to your health that last for a life time. Try not to buy shoes late afternoon and evening - your feet are swollen and you will not get a proper fit. Always take the time to compare your shoes and walk in them before deciding which shoe to sit off to the side. A little time figuring our which shoes are the best is time well spent. Then, because each foot is designed differently invest into a good set of arch supports such as Aetrex or a comparable insert. There are lots of them on the market but very few do the job. Have fun shopping for shoes and supports.
