My ring was given to them for a repair on 6/4/2017. To replace 1 diamond. Promised service within 2 weeks. Service was never rendered. Requested to get my ring back on 7/2/2017. Got my ring back on 7/5/2017 and it is now missing 2 diamonds instead of 1. Thomas and Tina at the store in Evansville have been nothing but evil and hateful toward me. After talking to Tina about the issue today she said she would call me back and she never did. I called the store back and Thomas argued, cut me off and eventually hung up on me. I was not yelling or arguing with Thomas. Thomas said a lot of unprofessional things to me. Told me he was off the clock and did not have to deal with me. This is all after they have ruined my ring. Ruined my 10 year wedding anniversary and they could care less. My ring may not be a million dollar ring but it worth a lot to me. Beyond anything else the treatment I have received from this store has hurt me. I never thought a company I would be paying for a service could treat me so badly. I have been nothing but kind and respectful to them. I have held them accountable for their actions and I have always had to be the one to follow up when unrealistic time frames were given to me. I feel very mislead and mistreated by the Evansville Zales staff. If their repair shop could not fix my ring they should have never gave me a quote. I was told my ring was returned on 3 different occasions with the replacement diamond falling out of it. THOMAS kept telling me he was upset with the service and it was poor quality. It seems to me that they messed the ring up in the first place and this entire month has been a huge cover up. I would have thought with such a huge corporation I would be treated fairly and with respect. I am so upset and appalled. Thomas should not be upheld with hanging up on your customers. My wedding ring in question did not come from Zales but I have done business with Zales on other occasions which is why it was the first place I thought to take my ring. It is so unfortunate. Thomas hanging up on me was my final straw with Zales. I need answers. I deserve respect. I never disrespected them. I have nothing else to think but to believe that because I am black it is so easy for Thomas to tell at me and think that my time isn't just as valuable as his. He hung up in my face after he yelled at me and talked over me when all I was trying to do was remind him that he never showed me my ring when I picked it up. He immediately placed it in a ring box he apologized for the time this has taken and he told me to have a good day. I am a busy manager of a 477 bed hospital and had just gotten a call from work as I grabbed the ring. I put the ring on on Friday and realized it was now missing 2 diamonds instead of one. I still have my original receipt for dropping it off for service. This entire experience has been a nightmare. Thomas says I called everyday but my ring was at that store for almost 3 weeks before I ever called about it. I would not have called then if I wasn't given a 3 day turn around time. By the time I called the first time Thomas had already sent the ring back to the repair shop because it had been returned with poor quality. Again, I am very upset. I am not the type to be mean or harass people. This has been a nightmare for me. Tina and Thomas have been 2 horrible individuals to have to deal with. It has taken everything in me to continue to remain so calm and civil. I will continue to pursue this until I receive some sort of justice. I don't believe anybody deserves to be mistreated. I work in healthcare and I train all my staff to treat every patient the way they would want their Mother treated. I have been treated like less then human by Thomas especially but also Tina. I don't allow poor customer service from my staff and I will not accept it from a company I hired for a service.
