The Grove is a popular fashion, shopping, dining and lifestyle destination in Los Angeles, California. It is located next to the historic Original Farmers Market in the Fairfax District, just south of CBS Television City. It opened in 2002 and is owned by Caruso, a real estate development and management company. The Grove features a mix of retail, restaurants and entertainment in an open-air environment pulsing with style and energy. It also has a free double-decker trolley that connects it to the Farmers Market, a dancing fountain that performs every hour, and a 14-screen movie theater. The Grove is situated on 575,000 square feet of land at 189 The Grove Drive, Los Angeles, CA 90036. It was built on the site of an old parking lot that belonged to the Farmers Market, which dates back to 1934. The Farmers Market and CBS agreed to sell their land to developer Rick Caruso in 1999 for $33 million. Caruso envisioned creating a European-style village that would complement the historic charm of the Farmers Market and attract visitors from all over the city and beyond.

The Grove was designed by architect David Williams and landscape architect Laurie Olin. It cost $160 million to construct and took two years to complete. It opened on March 14, 2002 with a grand opening ceremony that featured celebrities such as Ray Romano, Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen, and Jessica Simpson. The Grove quickly became one of the most successful shopping centers in the country, generating over $1 billion in sales in its first year. The Grove has a five-level parking structure that can accommodate up to 3 500 vehicles. It is located on The Grove Drive between Third Street and Beverly Boulevard.
