165th Street Shopping Center is a local urban strip mall with restaurant and retail stores in North Miami Beach, Florida with over 17 stores. It is located at 1540 NE 165th St, North Miami Beach, FL, 331622, across from SDG Soccer Complex. The shopping center is open from 9:00 am to 11:00 pm. The shopping center has a long history dating back to 1936, when it was opened by Bee-Line, Inc. as the Long Island Bus Terminal. It served as a hub for buses connecting Jamaica, Queens, and Nassau County in New York. The strip on 165th Street was originally constructed as part of the terminal, opening just after the terminal debuted in 1936. Shops were also built on 166th Street (today’s Merrick Boulevard), but are not present today. In May 1979, 165th Street was redeveloped as a pedestrian mall, with the street closed to vehicular traffic and repaved with red brick.

The shopping center is owned by Sharpe Properties Group, a property management company that specializes in commercial real estate in South Florida. The company acquired the shopping center in 2012 and has been renovating and leasing the spaces to various tenants. The shopping center offers ample parking for customers and employees, with over 200 spaces available on site.
