security improvements by ,
I've been looking for a good spot to put a business and have been hesitant about the Cherrydale area because of past experiences as a shopper. I have frequented the area often recently and have noticed the increase in security making me feel more comfortable to shop by myself with my daughter. I love that more business is moving into the are and that there are more security measures being taken.
Ms. by ,
I was in Ross's this past Tuesday, (8-18-2020) had my mask on as I noticed a woman coming down the isle the wrong way. She did not have a mask on and I pointed to mine. She became very sarcastic saying she had one lung and copd. She was a heavy set woman maybe in her 40's or 50's. Later I was in my car getting ready to leave when this lady came out and got in her car. First thing she did was light up a cigarette... If I have to wear a mask, I feel people like this should be made to wear one as well. I am not against people with dissabilites not wearing a mask, but some people take advantage of it and I feel they should show proof that they are disabled if it doesn't show.
Awful civil engineering done around the whole parking lot. by ,
This shopping center attracts vagrants who beg regularly which is bad enough but it is where there are the craziest drivers and worst layout. The Wells Fargo parking lot especially where there are 2 rows of parking spaces people from the teller line cross over to get to a lane. Everyday I am cautious and wonder how drivers know who has the right of way there. Of course I got hit by a driver with no license leaving Wells Fargo. When will police start patrolling that area more? Also someone should put up barrier stakes at the edge of that parking lot.

Great place to get a $1 and pick up married wemon.
Great Shopping by ,
Great Shopping experience and less traffic than in the city
Homeowner by ,
Parking lot is not safe. A lone woman feels very threatened by all the homeless people approaching for money etc.
Safety concerns by ,
There are good stores at Cherrydale, but there is growing concern in our local community about safety. Several neighbors have reported being accosted and assaulted by vagrants that frequent Cherrydale. Many of us have decided to avoid Cherrydale altogether. We would prefer to shop close to home if it were safer.
Sir by ,
Stores are run down and the parking lots are flooded with homeless and vagrants. I drive 10 or 15 minutes further to shop at a clean grocery store where im not hassled or scared for my family
No longer shop at Cherrydale by ,
Due to parking lot harassment, beggars, crime, and transients having or there, we no longer patronize ANY store in the center. It was very convenient at one time, however, the situations have gotten confrontational, and downright scary. There is no security, so there is no more shopping there.
