Empty Hand Sanitizer Stations
This mall appears to be struggling. Many of its stores have not reopened or have permanently left. You would think that management would do everything within his power to encourage people to return to the few stores that are open. On the last several visits in the past few weeks, I have encountered multiple hand sanitizer stations that were empty. Yesterday I tried three different stations with no success. What is the point of hand sanitizer stations in a mall if they are not filled or operational? Other much busier malls seem to be able to keep up with the demand for sanitizer. What is perplexing is that I see custodians walking through the mall with their cleaning carts. They will walk right past empty hand sanitizer stations without filling them. Perhaps it is not their job to do so. But it is management’s job to oversee the mall. This ongoing lack of attention to basic hygiene in the era of Covid does not exactly make me want to rush back to Stony Point.
