Nice place but the security team has young inexperienced unaware poorly trained people who In my opinion make a regular habit of profiling and removing people of lesser incomes. I was personally profiled assaulted and chased off property after attempting to complain to U Village security 217 a black male who has cussed at me and told me I was his most difficult part of job and threatened to have me kicked off property. I have called it in!

Fabulous virtually all-new collection of upscale stores. So much it's actually overwhelming. And the four story Restoration Hardware building is maybe the most pretentious store I've ever seen and I've seen a lot. And more stores are being built. I always thought I was materialistic and I am for beautiful things, but places like Pottery Barn especially are just rammed full to the rafters with endless Chinese made stuff no one needs. Or wouldn't have when I was young and we had great stores left to shop. I miss those, and I guess people need to fill their lives with endless dreck. Passing fancies.

Go to University Village if you have nothing else to do. BUT if you need groceries only, go to QFC on Roosevelt in a location that is quiet and easy to navigate. If, on the other hand, you want to shmooz, have a latte and kill time with friends, the University site is yours to enjoy.
