Zumiez - Friendswood, Texas 77546 - Baybrook Mall

My 12 year old son purchased a custom skate board. The staff member working the counter treated him so well calling him "dude" and making him feel like one of the guys. Unfortunately my son wasn't happy with the skateboard and we returned to the store the next day. After staff worked on adjusting the skateboard he still wasn't happy and we were compensated. My son has a mood disorder and I really appreciate everyone's kindness in helping him to leave happy especially since the purchase had been made with his birthday money. Thank you for being so understanding.

Mall is nice. Store is a little crowded and outdated, but everyone there is really friendly. My favorite Zumiez employee just came back to this location. He's the guy with the diamond in his face, I think his name is "JG". I have a child with special needs and this young man remembers us every time. As soon as we walk in he turns the music down so as not to alarm my autistic son. He doesn't even bat an eye when my son refuses to talk to him, but just smiles and picks out outfits for him and pushes him along into the fitting room. The only person who has ever been able to get my son to try anything on. Normally when we walk into stores the workers avoid us and stare, except this Zumiez at Baybrook. Every time we leave the mall my son has a smile on his face. When he puts on his Zumiez clothing in the morning, he is always happy. and anytime he sees someone in a tank top, he laughs and calls them JG. May God bless these young workers. Favorite shopping experience. Very kind people. Best atmosphere in the mall.
