Alexandria Mall is a shopping mall located in Alexandria, Louisiana, United States. It features Dillard’s, JCPenney, Conn’s, Burlington Coat Factory, and Bed Bath And Beyond as anchor stores. It also has many familiar and unique shops and restaurants to choose from. The mall was opened in 1973 and was originally anchored by Sears, JCPenney, and Beall-Ladymon. It underwent several expansions and renovations over the years, adding Dillard’s in 1981, McRae’s in 1997 (later replaced by Belk in 2006), and Bed Bath And Beyond in 2010. In 2017, the mall was sold to Spinoso Real Estate Group, a New York-based company that specializes in revitalizing underperforming malls. The mall has over 66 stores and services, offering a variety of products and experiences for shoppers of all ages and interests. Some of the popular stores include American Eagle Outfitters, Bath & Body Works, Foot Locker, GameStop, Hot Topic, Kay Jewelers, Old Navy, Victoria’s Secret, and Zales. The mall also has a bayou Louisiana-themed soft play area for kids to enjoy while their parents shop. The mall has several dining options for hungry shoppers, ranging from fast food to casual dining. Some of the restaurants include Chick-fil-A, Cinnabon, Great American Cookies, Panda Express, Piccadilly Cafeteria, Pretzelmaker, Raising Cane’s Chicken Fingers, Subway, and TGI Fridays. The mall also hosts various events throughout the year, such as vendor pop-ups, job fairs, kids business markets, and holiday celebrations. The mall is open from Monday to Saturday from 11:00 am to 7:00 pm and on Sunday from 12:00 pm to 5:00 pm. The mall is located at 3437 Masonic Dr., Alexandria, LA 713012. It has a large parking lot with over 3,000 spaces and is easily accessible by car or public transportation. The mall is served by several bus routes of the Alexandria Transit System (ATS), such as Route 1 (Masonic Drive), Route 2 (Jackson Street Extension), Route 3 (Lee Street), Route 4 (MacArthur Drive), and Route 5 (Bolton Avenue).

DO NOT BUY A LOUIS VUITTON FROM DILLIARDS! I learned the hard way! They are selling used bags that they are calling “vintage” but the clerk are not telling the customers. Then it’s non refundable so you get stuck with a $1500 10 year old bag, that you could have bought on EBay for half the price!

This mall needs to reposition its anchors and offerings to bring more foot traffic into the space. Located off of MacArthur Drive... which has one of the highest ADTs of Alexandria.. this mall has not given the people of Alexandria any hope or reason to want to visit for 'experience' which is what other regional malls have been successful at doing. Especially the regional malls which had anchors such as Sears !! Bring in the entertainment!
