Get rid of Barbershop
Me and my son from Florida got an haircut inside Mall. Bad vibes...too much cursing for young ears and not professional.

I enjoy shopping at Old Hickory mall, however, I want to add a statement. My 19 year, very responsible daughter came with her friends and was turned away at the door because she had her 12 year niece, her 16 year old nephew, another 18 year old friend and her two brother. She was told that she had to be 21 because she had underage kids with her. Of course she was not unseemly but reminded the security person that she was a 19 year old adult about to turn 20. It was the black security guard that stopped them and would not let them in. He had to prove something to the white security guards standing there. She actually came to shop and not just to "hang out" because they had already had fun at the Fun Center. When you have incidents like this happening because of color, it puts a blemish on business. Many times we have people coming from out of town that we bring to the mall. If we do a lot of talking and make enough noise, it will affect business.
