Anemic food court! by ,
I realize that Cherry Creek North is all about the wealth of the area. So, they don't really have much in the way of stores there that I care for. Worse yet, they have one of the most pathetic food courts of any mall I've visited in Colorado. It has like 4 or 5 stores? One store closed down and they can't even get it filled again? Of course, the rest of CCN is full of over-priced restaurants. They obviously have no desire for my business!

The truth is that over 200 stores have opened and gone out of business or bankrupt there. Mall developers are greedy. You can give them $1 million a year for 20 years and the first time you're late with your rent, they evict you. They are NEVER grateful. Just like franchisors. Franchisees pay more for products than they could on their own, and to top everything off, they pay 8% to 10% of their GROSS REVENUES (not net profits) every week. Yes, it's taken out of their bank accounts whether or not the previous week was profitable or not. America has become greedy. $$$ is the name of the game. Not humans that work hard & invest their life savings. Oh yea- when they do go out of business, they even get SUED for more insult to injury. Anyway, NEVER SIGN PERSONALLY ON ANY COMMERCIAL LEASE. NEVER. That signature will make your life miserable.
