I was there on 12/29/18 eating in the food court and i killed the hugest roach. Then i killedva small one where my mother was sitting. I couldn finish my food. Whole family just ran out there. We didn't wanna stay where there ate roaches and they are probably in all the kitchens at food court. Something got be done. Mall is goin down.
Suggestion to Revitalize ASAP!
This is no longer considered a mall. All of the great stores have left and it seems like a ghost town when you walk inside now. VCC was a great place to shop & had so much potential, but due to lack of maintenance upkeep & increased lease prices, it now looks sadly deserted & unkept. Perhaps the new owners will consider bringing in outlet stores that were once planned for nearby Ashland. Outlets would be great for this area as locals currently travel to NOVA or Williamsburg/Norfolk for outlet shopping. Please Revitalize VCC!!! We miss shopping there!

I work at jewelry kiosk near old Macy's. Last winter no heat was on at that end of the mall. I became I'll and almost died. Please put heat on I measured the air temperature with a thermometer before being hospitalized it read 42 degrees indoors. And in the summer it has read as high as 85 . Come on turn on something. Who wants to buy our fabulous jewels in conditions like this
